Faith Community Church began as an extension ministry from the Church of the Open Bible in Ponoka, way back in September of 2005. There's a lot that has happened since that time as the church continued to grow and serve the community of Blackfalds. The church has a governing team that we affectionately refer to as the 'A- Team', comprised of Elders, Pastor, Deacons/Deaconess. For almost ten years we had been using the Community Hall in Blackfalds on Womacks Road and in February 2015 we purchased the Dollar store on Broadway Avenue. So our new address is 5005 Broadway Avenue, come check it out.

If you were to ask us to describe what kind of church this is we'd probably say that it's one in which there's room for you. We highly value the way that each person of this small but growing ministry has an important contribution to make. Why don't you come and see for yourself.
